This one was a good read. Not great! But good. I never read a
book about such a strange relationship. When you read the brief outline of the
book you may agree that it is a bit unusual.
The main female character fell for an acquaintance of her gay
best friend. And said acquaintance is bi-sexual. Though it has an interesting premise, the book seemed to revolve
around some boring issues.
1. The heroine is black, boyfriend is white
2. She grew up kind of half Jewish
3. Her boyfriend is/was into guys
Neither characters were all that interesting. And the
supporting characters in the story did not help at all. It felt as if the
author was filling up pages sometimes when she focused on the people around them.
Don’t know if Hart’s other books are any good, but I would
not invest in this one.
