With Every Heartbeat (Forbidden Men Series 2,3,4) by Linda Kage 4/5, 2/5, 2/5

Genre: Young Adult Contemporary Romance

Sensuality: 7/10

Kage got me with this series! I gatta say! She got me!

And NOT in a good way!

The first book I read was book 2. It was a B+ for me. It was alright. All of the books deal with some type of serious conflict or drama.

But the outside drama by book 4 was waaaaaayyyy too much for me. I do not mind reading books from his and her points of view.

What I mean is, I don't mind reading a book1 (his point of view), then book 2 (her point of view).

The problem with this series is that they go over the same stuff in every single book! What happened in book 2 is rehashed to some extent in book 3 and 4. Drove me freakin nuts!!

Other reviewers commented on the fact that the author spent way too much time on the supporting character's dramas and less on the hero and heroines development. I agree. They all have good plots to be great books...but they just weren't to me. But she got me with all the football! Who could resist?! ;)

When you see such HIGH ratings you think that the couple of poor ones are a fluke right? Wrong!

What bugs me too is that the author is making book 5 seem so damn juicy. She keeps on hinting at the main characters of that one through out. You wish you had a Ten in your life. Dirty mouth and all.

And you know what? I'm going to more than likely buy the damn thing! Thanks alot Kage!

Happy reading.

(Noel) Book 2- 4/5
(Pick) Book 3- boring, boring, and boring again 2/5
(Hamilton) Book 4- oh my God! This was even more boring 2/5
