One Night Promised by Jodi Ellen Malpas 4/5

One Night: Promised by Jodi Ellen Malpas

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Sensuality: 9

I actually enjoyed this one. I was worried about reading this one due to Malpas' other book Beneath This Man. Heroes and heroines overcoming personal shortcomings grab me every time. This one delved into the disorder of Obsessive Compulsiveness. Interesting...

The author made both characters bend a bit. I was never bored reading this one. You are going to probably enjoy reading about her few family members. They add something a little special to the book.

It is an okay investment.

Play With Me by Kristin Proby 4/5

Play With Me by Kristin Proby

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Sensuality: 8

Another great football read. The chemistry between Meg and Will was a tangible thing. Hot! She was a bit of a badass, which was refreshing. And I found her personality represents most women these days anyhow.

Will was a bit demanding, but a romantic character. Both characters were strong and made me want to turn the page and see what happens next in their story.

I am happy I got this one.

Pulse by Gail McHugh 4/5

Pulse: Book 2 in the Collide Series by Gail McHugh

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Sensuality: 8

This one made me wish I read Book 1. I could only imagine the chemistry dripping off the page in that one. Book 2 was pretty good. Both characters were truely wrapped up in each other.

I agree with the other reviews I have read before I began reading this one. It is a good book. Romantic for sure.

I don't have much else to say about it. You shouldn't be disappointed.

Beauty From Pain by Georgia Kates 4.5/5

Beauty From Pain by Georgia Kates

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Sensuality: 9

This one was hot. I completely enjoyed it! I plan to invest in the other books in the series. Let's see...hot Australian men + setting in a vineyard = amazingness.

The hero and heroine are strong, with some depth. Kates really did a great job of creating the heroines character. She seems so endearing and lovely, but yet so fragile. This couple I actually believe would make it in the end. And the supporting characters are wonderful. Well..most of them. I felt that some were forgotten about somehow during reading.

The chemistry between these two is intense. And you may want to practice a new work out routine after reading this one. I'm trying to find someone that teaches that in my town right now!

;) When you read it, you'll know EXACTLY what I'm talking about.

Perfectly Damaged by E.L. Montes

Perfectly Damaged by E.L. Montes

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Sensuality: 8

I really enjoyed Perfectly Damaged. It feels as if stories exploring emotionally scarred characters, such as Jenna, intrigue me these days.

This one is not a hot and heavy read. A lot of the book was in the heroine's head trying to figure her life out. I actually didn't mind that too much surprisingly. This book sheds some light on mental illness. I feel that we take for granted the fact that many people suffer from illnesses such as Jenna's. In my country, situations like these are swept under the rug and ignored. Which is pretty sad.

The hero's character read as such a sweetie pie. It's not a complete happily ever after ending, but it is a truly encouraging and hopeful one.

I don't regret giving this one a shot.

Ten Tiny Breaths by K.A. Tucker

Ten Tiny Breaths by K. A. Tucker

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Sensuality: 9

The cover of this book is beautiful! LOVE IT. Now...I didn't see the twist in the plot. Some reviewers did a mile off.

The story itself read a bit boring to me unfortunately. I was genuinely interested in the characters getting stronger emotionally, so that kept me turning the page. No real stuff started to go down in the book until the end though. Great ending, even though it's a damn cliff hanger!

I would borrow this one.
