This book was not as boring as some of the other ones I have recently read, but it was a bit of a yawn none the less. The characters felt real for a change though. I felt as if the author made an attempt to give the main characters some depth. The reader had a chance to get to know them a little.
The subject matter is heavy, (sexual abuse) but is not heavily focused on. The 'hot' scenes in this one are pretty graphic. Felt like I was in the damn room sometimes. Nothing boring about those parts! But, the plot is a bit obvious and boring though.
The honesty of the characters kept me until the end though. And I love MMA...so that kind of hooked me too.
